We are now capable of operating training courses out of our head office in Gloucester across a broad spectrum of topics. IPAF (International Powered Access Federation), PASMA (Pre-Fabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers Association) and Abrasive Wheel Training can be acquired through Ermin Plant Hire.
Access Training with full IPAF Training has been in operation for a while and has proved extremely popular with our customer base. With our Health & Safety Director Andy Pollard heading the courses and the ability for us to have our own serviced and maintained scissor lifts and cherry pickers on site we are certainly well equipped to provide the perfect course for anyone of any background.
Further to Access Training we can now offer Abrasive Wheel courses to ensure that customers are fully aware of how to fit and work safely with blades used in the construction industry. This course is designed to help staff and employee's that work with abrasive wheels understand their responsibility in the workplace. Many accidents happen each year when working with abrasive wheels and usually this is because of incorrect mounting and use of the abrasive wheel itself.
Under the Provision and use of Work Equipment Act 1998 (PUWER) it is a legal requirement that all staff that work with abrasive wheels are trained in the changing of wheels and the tools designed to help do this. Ermin Plant Hire also offer PASMA Training Courses covering all types of erection of aluminium Scaffold Towers. We are heavily involved in the hire of Scaffold Tower across our depots and feel it is only right to offer a Pre-Fabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association (PASMA) course where our customers can be trained in the correct setting up, maintaining and taking down procedure ensuring not only their own safety on site but the safety of others too.
