Our new depot at Worcesterhas now been fully operational since the 4th of April and it is fair to say that we are happy with the start it has made. It has not only enabled us to give a better service to our customers based around the area but has also given us a fresh approach considering the current economic climate.
With the success of our Ross-On-Wye branch opening in April 2007 we hope that the new Worcester branch will follow in its footsteps.
The new premises are a lot bigger and have much improved parking facilities and loading areas, this enables us to keep more equipment and have a larger tradecounter for sale items and general tools. With these factors combined we feel it provides a much more customer friendly base.
Although the old depot in Droitwich Road served a purpose it was far too small and parking and loading became a problem. It was definatley time to move on. We were concious of not moving too far away from the area yet we also knew that to find a premises to suit our needs it would have to be on an out of town industrial estate. Blackpole Trading Estate seemed to meet the criteria so hence the move.
Dave Jones continues as Branch Manager with Steve Moore as his assistant and they are open from 7.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday and 8 - 12 on a Saturday the telephone number remains 01905 726433.
