Do you offer operated plant hire?

Yes, we can supply fully trained and certified operators with our equipment.

Can I hire equipment without an operator?

Yes, non-operated (self-drive) hire is available.

What qualifications do your operators hold?

All operators are fully trained and hold the relevant CPCS/NPORS/IPAF or equivalent certifications relevant to the machine they are operating.

How do I book plant hire?

You can book by phone, email, or in person at any of our depots. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

How much notice do you need?

Where possible, 24–48 hours’ notice is preferred, but we will always do our best to accommodate whatever the notice.

Can I extend my hire period?

Yes, we understand projects run over schedule but please do let us know with as much notice as possible.

Do you deliver the equipment to site?

Yes, we offer delivery and collection services to your site for all of the equipment we offer.

Is delivery included in the hire cost?

Delivery and collection are usually charged separately unless stated otherwise in your quote.

What access is required for delivery?

Clear access is required. If you have restrictions, please make us aware to we can plan a suitable vehicle. Depending on your plant requirements we can delivery with a large lorry or small van.

Is insurance included in the hire price?

Insurance is not included. Hirers are responsible for the equipment during the hire period. We do offer insure at an additional cost if you require it.

What happens if the equipment is damaged?

The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage during the hire period, excluding fair wear and tear. We do offer insurance if you wish to cover the risk of damage.

Do I need a licence to hire plant equipment?

Some equipment requires proof of competence. Please check with us before booking. Our training centre can assist with any training if required.

What happens if the machine breaks down?

If a breakdown occurs, contact us immediately. We will repair or replace the equipment as quickly as possible.

Who is responsible for maintenance?

We maintain all equipment prior to hire. The hirer is responsible for daily checks and proper use during the hire period.

Is your equipment compliant with safety regulations?

Yes, all equipment is fully serviced, inspected, and compliant with current health and safety legislation. Service records, Loler inspections or any other relevant certificates are available on request.

Do you provide safety instructions?

Yes, basic operating instructions and safety guidance are provided on delivery

How much does plant hire cost?

Costs vary depending on equipment type, hire duration, and whether an operator is required. Contact us for a quote.
