Overview

The aim of the Ride on Roller Training is to provide both theoretical and practical training in the safe and efficient use of the ride on roller. On successful completion of the ride on road roller training you will be issued with the relevant operator’s card or certification to suit. This Road Roller course delivers the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding to operate a road roller safely and effectively. This course will cover the relevant variations to suit your needs pedestrian, ride on, articulated, rigid, vibrating or dead weight.

What's Covered

  • Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in your industry and their responsibilities as an operator.
  • Have a working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook for the particular roller.
  • Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine and explain their functions.

  • Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for roller use.
