MEWP / IPAF (Mobile Elevated Work Platform)

  • Level: Novice
  • Duration: 1 Day, 2 Days

Overview

Falls from height cause many serious injuries and fatalities in the workplace. Our IPAF Training Gloucestershire course equips operators with the knowledge and skills they need to safely and confidently use Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). The training also helps businesses meet health and safety regulations while protecting their workforce.

After completing the course and passing the assessments, each delegate receives a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), often called an IPAF Ticket. This industry-recognised certification proves that the operator has completed the required IPAF training and can operate MEWPs safely and effectively on site.

Who Should Attend?

Our IPAF Training Gloucestershire course suits anyone who operates or supervises Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) at work. This includes workers who perform tasks at height using equipment such as:

  • Scissor lifts
  • Cherry pickers

Employers require proof of training for anyone who operates access equipment, which makes the IPAF PAL Card essential for workers in construction, facilities management, maintenance, and industrial sectors.
